Hello Mathias
Thank you for the information. I apologise for the delay in replying but I have been on annual leave. Are you a relative of Edgard Boydens? Can you tell us any more about Edgar or the regiment? Sorry to ask so many questions but we really don’t know where to search the Belgian Records so we are very grateful for any information you can give us. If you look at some of the other entries then you can see the type of information we are trying to find. I hope to hear from you again and thank you for getting in touch, I would be interested to know how you found out about the project.
Kind regards
Beverley
Hello Beverley
Sorry I didn’t get back to you, but I didn’t know a got a reply on this.
I’am not a relative of Edgard Boydens. I can give you some more info about the regiment and perhaps some about Edgard himself.
I will translate some brief unit history and send it to you, and I’ll try to get a copy of his service record but as I don’t have a date of birth that might be tricky.
Kind regards from Flanders
Mathias
Thank you for getting in touch about Edgard. I look froward to receiving any information that you can send. Thank you once again for your interest in the project. Given that you are in Flanders I just wondered how you came across our project?
Kind regards
Beverley
