Biography
Private Whyte passed through Peterborough and signed the visitors’ book on the 29 June 1916, and wrote ‘Clackmannan’, which maybe his home town.
His battalion, the 2/7 Princes Louise’s (Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders) were based at Norwich during this period. http://bit.ly/2mOzitR
